o Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against an official at the Tshwane South District Office for unprofessional conduct, refusal to provide critical information, and failure to release learner documentation, relating to the registration for the May/June 2026 examinations. I registered both my daughters on the Department of Basic Education (DBE) website to rewrite their matric examinations: One learner is registered for the National Senior Certificate (NSC). The other learner is registered for the Senior Certificate (SC). Despite being correctly registered on the official DBE system, I was informed by the said official that my daughter who is registered for the Senior Certificate (SC) must attend Tshwane College. This instruction is deeply concerning, as Tshwane College has been deregistered by the Department of Education, and should therefore not be directing or handling examination matters. When I sought clarification and requested official confirmation, guidance, or documentation to verify my daughter’s examination details, the official: Refused to provide clear or accurate information; Declined to explain the registration process for SC candidates; Refused to release my daughter’s documents for verification purposes; Displayed an unprofessional and dismissive attitude, causing unnecessary distress and confusion. This conduct is unacceptable, especially considering the seriousness of matric examinations and the impact such actions have on learners’ academic futures and parents’ ability to ensure compliance with DBE requirements. I respectfully request the following: Immediate clarification regarding the correct examination centre and process for Senior Certificate (SC) candidates registered for the May/June 2026 examinations; The release of my daughter’s documents or written confirmation of her registration details; An investigation into the conduct of the official involved; Written feedback on the outcome of this complaint. I trust that this matter will be treated with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to ensure that my daughters are not prejudiced in any way.
