Cancellation of modules

They have deregistered my brother's two modules after he had been attending for a month. This is a trimester course. He had paid for books and taken the time to study for the modules. He received an sms a few days ago stating that his modules would be cancelled.

Upon enquiry with the school, we were given a myriad of reasons for the cancellation with no substantiation of the new policy. We have also advised them that they cannot implement a policy that will apply retrospectively and negatively impact the students. They also gave a reason that they had made a decision to choose how many subjects the student would cope with, this despite him passing 4 modules last trimester.

They indicated yesterday that they would reinstate the modules but have not done so.
