Death claim not paid

I have been with Tshebedisano Burial society since 2004. I was never given a policy document therefore when my brother in law passed away in 2016 I was not aware that I was supposed to have claimed R5000.00. Tshebedisano kept quiet about this even though they were aware that he had passed on and was one of the people registered on the policy. Recently I asked them to send me a policy document and when I received it I realized that I had not claimed for my brother in law in 2016. I contacted them and was rudely told that I should have claimed with 6 months of his passing. My question to them is how would I have known if I had no policy document. The didn't budge. This is the 2nd hello Peter complained I am positing regarding Tshebedisano. I dealt with a lady by the name of Puleng needless to say she was really really rude to me in front of everyone that was around. I am going to persu this until the Ombudsman if need be. Our black business people are failing us dismally.
