Claim not paid

I took out a Burial scheme policy with Tshebedisano burial society scheme way back in 2012. The policy offers R5000.00 payout when a beneficiary passes away. This is their sum assured. In 2016 one of my beneficiaries passed away this was my sister's husband. I was the one doing all the run around preparing for his funeral. Tshebedisano had never send me a policy document therefore I was not aware of the R5000.00 sum assured. Due to the Covid19 pandemic I then decided to contact all my insurers and ask them for policy documents etc in case something happens to my family or myself for that matter. I then asked Tshebedisano to provide me with the policy schedule/document that's when I realized that I was never paid the R5000.00 sum assured when my brother inlaw passed away. I went to see Tshebedisano to find out why was I never paid. I dealt with a very rude female by the name of Puleng. She said to me I was supposed to claim within 6 months after the beneficiary passed away. I told her that I was never advised about the 6 months period nor given a policy document at inception. She was very very very rude and told me that they will not pay me after so many years. I asked her for proof of a document that was given to me then she couldn't we exchanged words and I left. I know that what I am about to say below might not sit well with other fellow South Africans but it is true. Most businesses owned by us Black people are a ripp of. I can guarantee you now that if this was white owned I would have been refunded accordingly especially because I was never given a policy document in the 1st place and there is no proof that it was send to me. Tshebedisano I am asking you to do what's right once and for all.
