TS Consumer Insights - POPI Act

I received a call from a person who identified himself as Kenneth from TS Consumer Insights (telephone number ***). He has no clue about the Protection of Personal Information Act. I answered his questions (falsely of course) - he couldn't say where he got my information or what they would do with it. At the end of the conversation I asked for his surname and he wouldn't give it to me (ironic). He wanted to know why I wanted it. How do these companies get our personal information? *******ion?
