Spam calls - TS Consumer Insights / TS Marketing Research

This company phoned me last weekend; and when I refused the survey to the insistent agent on the phone - things quickly got heated. When I said that having my details without my permission was contravening POPIA - she insisted that cold-calling was allowed under POPIA. I then asked how they came upon my details, and stored them without my permission or knowledge. I asked to speak to a manager and was refused that, and she promptly ended the call. This was after I asked to remove my details from the database. I then got called again today, and asked to remove my details (without the altercation this time). I'm convinced they change their company name periodically to avoid legal action. South Africa needs a massive lawsuit in this domain so that privacy is actually respected.
