Trust Solar: Long delay and no communication
I placed my order for a full solar energy system on Avo by Nedbank ecommerce platform on 2 Feb 2023, the service provider being Trust Solar, paying in full (R145,600.00).
The inverter and battery was installed on 9 March 2023.
As at 4 April 2023 (2 months later and a month after the initial partial installation) I still await the solar panels. The company has not communicated. I only found out about the delay by calling them and getting a response from someone in admin. No-one from Trust Solar has communicated by when the installation will be completed.
The company has not responded despite follow ups from both myself and Avo.

04 Apr 2023, 17:48Hi Craig. Yes I do apologize for the lack of communication. We and everyone in the industry has been completely inundated with messages, calls and emails. And to top it off the entire country ran out of panels. We have our own imported stock arriving on the 10th and have also have been buying up local stock that has just stated to come available in SA. Ill get the office to contact you tomorrow with date.

Being out of stock is understandable enough however this should have been communicated when I placed the order on 2 Feb (2 months ago). I assume you manage orders and inventory.
I also did not receive any response about shortages more than a month after three order, despite several emails and calls just to understand what is happening.
Imagine ordering, paying, not receiving a big part of the order, then not hearing anything about how this would be resolved. You must communicate as a minimum requirement.
I await communication on when I can expect the panels. What is the plan? Will it take another 2 months, a year, 5 years??? I'm in the dark.
