Outstanding Personal Service - Amazing staff

<p>Popped into Trumps at Sandton square a few weeks ago before we went to see a show, so were limited for time. My husband and I both ordered steaks. When they arrived mine had a bit of sinew, but was not that bad, but when our waitnress enquired about our food we mentioned it and straight away, she whisked it away. Then the manager came over and apologised profusely and said he would replace it with a better cut of meat at not extra cost, as he felt we might experice the same problem with that cut again. and offered me a drink in the meantime, as he put it " you should not have to come out and be inconvenienced and have your husband eat alone, when you come to have dinner together". <br />We were happy with this, but a few minutes later a seond head manager arrived with my meal and again apologised for this terrible mistake, and offered us free desserts after our meal.</p> <p>We were to put it mildly"gobsmacked".... yet we should not have been... as this is what good management should do ( definitely not having to offer free dessert) but be available to see to their customer and assist in such a wonderful manner.</p> <p>We declined the free dessert as we did not have the time, but thanked them and I enjoyed my meal very much. Upon receipt of our bill, we were more surprised and shocked to find they had only charged for one steak !!</p> <p>When we called the waiter to question this, as we were quite happy to pay the full bill, she told us , that as we had declined the free dessert, they felt it only right to only charge to one meal.</p> <p>Not only did we have a very good meal, but the service from start to finish was outstanding, and the way in which the managers handled such a "small matter" was simply amazing.</p> <p>We go there often and would have been going back in the future anyway, but now I feel I should let everyone out there know what a great establishment this is and where to go to enjoy good food, service and a great time.</p>
