Refusal to repair defect couches

Good day I bought a 1 cannes 2 division 2 arms grey 1 cannes 3 division 2 arms grey 1 cannes 1 division 2 arms grey couches at Truewood furniture store at the Mall of the South on 19 February 2022, I made a deposit of R500 on the day. I made a further full payment of R46 770.00 on the 24th of February 2022. The couches were delivered on 27 March 2022. Upon inspection of the couches I noted the couches were defective and old. I contact the sales lady Noma who assisted me at the Mall of the South, asked that I sent her photographs via WhatsApp, she advised that she will escalate the compliant to head office. Truewood called and advised that the deliver will come and collect the defective couches. On Tuesday 5th April 2022 the driver of the company come to inspect the couches and advised that he was not instructed to collect the couches but rather to inspect. He called his manager and the manager advised that there is nothing wrong with the couches and will escalate the matter to his senior manager Mr Schalk Smit. On 7th April 2022 the Mr Smit called and I asked that I send him photographs of the defective couches, he advised that the sales lady at Mall of the South did not send him all the couches as per my compliant. I sent the photographs as discussed with Mr Smit via WhatsApp he called immediately thereafter and insulted me and made an example of a pregnant women who has given birth and whose stomach would subsequently be “flabby” I asked Mr Smit what that had to do with the couches which are brand new and appear to be old. According to their policy and adverti*****t the couches are pure leather and have a 20 year guarantee. He advised that he will not take any responsibility for the defective couches.
