WHY MUST I PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT I DON'T WANT OR NEED ANYMORE

WHY MUST I PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT I DON'T WANT OR NEED ANYMORE................?I am now very tired of being harassed by these people. At the end of 2020, I received numerous calls asking me if I wanted to continue my subscription for 2021. I must have received about 25 calls over the next 2 months, asking the same question to which I said no. Come late 2022, I now suddenly have a huge outstanding balance for 2021 and 2022 and as a result I have now been handed over to their lawyers. Why should I pay for something that I never asked for?
