Trudon and Telkom - tied by the hip

<p>I have been billed R399 + VAT on my Oct 2016 account by Telkom for services alledgedly provided by a company called Trudon. I have no contract with Trudon and asked Telkom to provide me with proof of such a contract and where I authorise Telkom to bill me for any services provided by Trudon(Pty) Ltd. Telkom insist that I contact Trudon to clear this up. I find this completely outrageous as I am a client of Telkom and have no arrangement with Trudon. I decided to email the CEO of Telkom to lodge my concern only to be dismayed to to discover that among the two executive directors of Telkom, the Chief Finacial Officer Mr. Deon Fredericks is also a director of Trudon (Pty)Ltd. I cannot see how Telkom will act in my interests against the interests of a senior executive director of its own company. I have decided to contact the relevant ombudsman to take up my matter.</p>
