Stay very far away

My business has been running for 17 years. We eventually moved away from Telkom for not moving lines to our new premises after more than 3 months. We started receiving invoices from TRUDON (this same company mistakenly billed our Telkom account once for R850.00). I mailed and tried to call them with no response about this invoice. Eventually after 7 emails and at least 10 phone calls I received a response from Keabetswe Radebe. Who stated that the amount is R157.32, supp**** an invoice for R179.79 p/month and the following recording. After establishing that they do in fact publish the white pages, our conversation "AGENT: we bill you on your Telkom account, currently now you are billed for R130, ME: That's right, AGENT: and from December there's a R8 increase, ME: OK, AGENT: But everything will be emailed to you as well, ME: Thanks, AGENT, Bye". I declared a dispute with Trudon based on the billed amount being different from the recording and asked for the date of this recording and proof thereof. She supp**** the date in writing and then an amount of R157.32. Again I informed her that this is not what was agreed on and that I would like to declare an official dispute. This is her response "I have sent all the relevant documents to you. The questions you raising you were supposed to ask the rep while he/she was selling you the product. Feel free to raise the dispute and I will also hand over your account on my side and you’ll be blacklisted" Basically she's telling me that a) it's my responsibility to ask the rep if he's truthful about the amount payable, b) She doesn't have to provide proof of the date of recording and c) If I declare a dispute she will have us blacklisted. Here after I informed her that I have the right to query discrepancies like this and that she must provide answers or address this discrepancy. She simply sent me a letter threatening to blacklist if the wrong amount is not paid immediately. It’s because of companies like this that we have a consumer protection act.
