Slimy, Uncanning, Devious and Misleading sales agents

I was contacted by someone from Business Classified whom told me that they are an agent of telkom, they used misleading tactics and told me that they just need to update our companies details in the directory, with no mention of any fees whatsoever, this is very unprofessional, now our company gets an Email from a debt collection company after a year of silence after they initially contacted me in August 2020 I and the company I work for refuse to be held liable for any costs.
