Deceiving clients!

On 16 September 2016 I received my Telkom bill. It was a lot more than usual. After some checking I picked up two services that were billed (R399 + R325) that I knew nothing about. It was for “Web 2050 Mobile Ad Network”. I called Telkom and they said that it was added by Trudon (The Yellow pages). I lodged a complaint with the branch manager of Trudon in Bloemfontein and she explained that it was a computer error but will be rectified asap. After a month nothing happened…

At the weekend the newspapers reported that this was no error. Apparently Trudon boasted about making almost R40m from 65000 unsuspecting clients without ever rendering this so called service! Is this the way Telkom and Trudon conduct business?
