Beware the "Yellow Pages" ****... they will continue to harass you even if you pay them.

Masquerading as Telkom's White and Yellow Pages, Trudon/ Telekom have been running a **** for years now.

This whole drama started in June 2017, when my secretary at the time received a call from Trudon, who claimed they published the Yellow Pages, and wanted to update our details in their listing. We were sent a proof, and then eventually a "contract", all the time being told that this was a free service. In our misguided trust, we didn't read the fine print and signed it having been given verbal confirmation that Telkom were simply updating our details which were already on their system.

By July 2017, we had already requested a cancellation of this "contract". We attempted to cancel again in September 2017, and at the same time discovered that Wendy Knowler had done an expose on this **** on East Coast Radio that was included on www.****alot.com. On 18 February 2019, we paid a "reduced" settlement figure out of simple deseperation to be left alone. However, we have continued to be harassed on an almost monthly basis, being threated with legal action and being reported to the credit bureau.

Since this started, we have recorded most of the email communication between Trudon, NCR Lega, Debt Recoveries,l and the various other debt-collectors and ourselves, including providing them with evidence that we had paid the agreed on amount.

However, we continue to be harassed by "debt-collectors" and now the "credit-bureau" both telephonically and via email.

Finally, it should be noted that we never actually witnessed any advertising done on our behalf or publication of our business details.
