Dishonest, ********* and *****

In October last year we were recommend by a close family friend to use this company and so we did. The owner of the company came and gave us a quote and requested 70% deposit which we paid to him within a week and to date all we have is a huge hole in the ground nothing has been completed, my yard is in a mess. The guy never comes to check on his boys and see the progress and when you question the owner he gets defensive and says you are rude and arrogant and then won’t come for a couple of weeks. Eventually my husband got tired of his attitude and had a meeting with him. He began explaining that his daughter has cancer. Feeling sorry for them as we have kids ourselves we gave him some time to be with his family. Come January he was leaving for Canada and then it was Covid-19 so we had to wait until restrictions were eased and we contacted him and heard another excuse that he broke his hand and has Covid-19. Feeling like we have been ****** and frustrated at our yard that is full of sand and rumble I contacted our family friend that recommended him and only to discover that his daughter was NOT diagnosed with cancer and that all excuses were just lies. His boys have broken two of our taps which we had to fix ourselves, damaged our cement stairs leading to the so called pool area and his driver damaged the driveway gate rails which we had to fix as the gate couldn’t open or close. This company is a menace, the owner doesn’t care what happens as long as his pockets are full. He is a **** and a *****. He doesn’t want to refund us and now we have seek legal council. Don’t ever use this company.
