Renovated 2 showers

Still no response to previous complaint below:

Bathrooms renovationRenovation of 2 bathrooms -Kenilworth, Cape Town
Cost of renovation: R135,725.00
Main Bathroom:
1. Shower floor not waterproofed - confirmed by TRSA’s Tiler as well as Leak detection expert
2. Walk-in shower floor insufficient slope - did not drain correctly due to insufficient slope as per industry standards.
3. Waste pipe fall insufficient. Does not drain correctly
4. Shower rose arm removed and used in Guest Bathroom – not replaced
5. Leaking shower floor caused wall, carpet, cupboard damage in adjoining room.
Cost to repair and replace damage and waterproof shower floor - R8,269.00
TRSA insisted I pay R4,500.00 to redo shower floor - Refused to pay as this was not due to negligence on my part.
7. Shower floor had to be waterproofed and retiled by competent company at my expense - R6,445.00
8. Hand basin coming apart from wall, waste pipe fitting coming loose at wall
9. Work on Snag list not done.

Guest Bathroom:
1. Shower mixer and shower rose arm leak since installation
2. Leaks were fixed but area around mixer and shower rose was not closed up and retiled.
3. Slope of walk-in shower floor insufficient (less than industry norm) - did not drain correctly due to insufficient slope.
4. Shower floor leaking since being used in Dec/Jan.
5. Damage to wall and floor in room adjoining Guest Bathroom

Paid to waterproof 2 shower floors – no waterproofing done R5,000.00
Total Cost to date of waterproofing and damage repairs R22,194.0
Quote -Waterproof, repair water damage by competent contractor R8,300.00
Total damages suffered R35,494.00
