Ttrivago Poor Holiday destinations

Trivago has holiday chalets on their site which are extremely disappointing. Their pictures that they have of some Chalets are not what it seems. The pictures deceive the actual property of the venue. Now we are sitting with a situation where we booked on pretense of pics, when we arrived at the destination the area was very disappointing. The chalet had no access to the back yard. There was only 1 toilet and 1 bath in a 6 sleeper.

We did not end up staying at the place and cancelled on arrival, we had to book another place. Trivago has now made it my problem as they do not want to fully refund me due to their negligence of not viewing holiday destination, before advertising them on their site.

The owner of the place, has not contacted me, i contacted her 3 times and she stated that she has not been paid by Trivago as yet???
