Triump Tap giving way after only week.

I bought a set of triumph basin taps last Saturday at Leroy Merlin for my basin, I needed to replace the my cold tap, and Today had our helper call me in histerics saying the cold tap is not turning off and water is pouring out, I rushed home and found that the the whole mechanical gave way inside, and the seal was gone, this is after only a week of using it very few times, my plumber confirmed that that the quality of the tap was horrible, and will have to replace the taps next month as the other one from the set I bought, was inferior in quality but at least we where able to use it to stop the water pouring out. I was very disappointed as I thought Triumph was a quality brand.
