We bought rump steak at Triptiek butchery on Friday 23. On Saturday we opened it to braai, it was rotten. Called the butchery this morning cause we are sick , running stomach and vomiting since Saturday but the only excuse was that they cant do anything cause the boss are not available. Mind you we buy our meat at Triptiek every month and its over R5000 not less. I explained to the lady Wendy that we never had such a problem , she advised we bring it back after I told her we sick. After several calls since this morning I called again for a fourth time and spoke to someone different who also advised that we need to bring it back when we feel better. I mean , the inconvenience for us as clients and she also said that she will open a package in store to see if its rotten plus we are now the first to complain about the steak. She asked what we ate the previous day, maybe that could be the reason for us feeling sick. This made us feel like ****s.. I remember , we moved to the Free State 4+ years ago and we were referred by many to buy our meat at Triptiek. Do we let all who referred us come and smell the steak? Common Triptiek staff, you have such lovely bosses.
