We purchased a small back up power supply manufactured by Tripp-Lite and purchased through a local distributor in SA. The product failed after 13 months and the part replaced. It failed again with 12 months of the replacement, but because it fell outside of the original 2 year warranty from date of ourchase, the manufacturer has point blank refused to honour the warranty.
