OUr house in a mess due to bad workmanship

This builder installed our floors(A concrete screed) knowing that it would be the final surface in our brand new home! The sand he used was of bad quality due to clay parts in it. This meant that the floor started breaking up about a week after it was installed, forming soft patches on the surface that you could break with a pen. He told us that this is what he told us we would have! It is now costing us to remove the entire screed by hand and to reinstall a floor.<br> <br> Then he erected our roof. He is not an ITC member (if you want to build, make sure the installer of the roof is ITC approved) and he did not follow plans, nor did he follow the design. There is no support for the geysers and neither is there bolts anywhere where needed. The engineer notified us that there are more than 10 items not to industry standards.<br> <br> It is appalling to find out that thee two huge elements in our home had been installed so poorly. For the floor we got a company called Contest to test the floor and they found that 70% of the floor is not even gradeable. That means it is so bad they can not even measure it! The roof engineer and ITC confirmed our roof structure unsound. And we paid in full.
