Never buy Trimtech trimmers

I bought a Trimtech 900 W trimmer from Makro on 21 December. After 7 uses, a plastic part at the botttom broke. I took the trimmer back to Makro and they advised they cannot take it back, I have to contact the supplier in Johannesburg. When I called there, the person on the line spoke such bad English I could not understand and then called the Head Office in Durban. There I was told that it must be wear and tear and I have to buy the part from Makro?? Stinking customer service, one year warrentee is an absolute joke. Rather buy another trimmer or lawnmower, but stay away from Trimtech!
