Worst restaurant experience ever

I had a beautiful night planned for our first anniversary together with a romantic night out. When I made the reservation I asked for a beautiful table setup due to it being our anniversary. When we arrived at tribes restaurant in emperors palace they moved us to another restaurant next to them that looked like a high-school cafeteria. they only had 2 cups with napkins in like really! The beverages weren't great at all that was recommended by the waiter. The for starters I had snails that was overdone with absolutely no garlic and was bland and the bread was hard. While my partner had calamari, she told me it tasted like a rubber boot but the rice was not to bad. Main meal was a tribal skewer or something like that. The meat on the skewer was not very well prepared and was burnt on the outside not tasting great at all while the mielie was hard as rock. My partners beef lasagna was not bad but could be better. We didn't even finish the meal when we paid for all that bad food about R600.. I'll never go back again. And I do not recommend this place to anyone. When you pick a restaurant you choose the vibe, the look, the feel and of course the best food, to be honest I could have done better at home!
