Bad Customer Service / Paying for mechanic's mistakes

I drive a BMW X5 3.0I that needed new front wheel bearings. I bought the bearings and needed a company to just replace the old with the new. As my Brother is working at Triangle brake & Clutch in Vanderbijlpark. They have recommended me to make use of their services, because they are a growing business with best customer service.

On the 10th of November I drove to Vanderbijlpark as I am Staying in Fochville. I took the car to Triangle Brake & Clutch where I spoke to the manger "Quinton" to make an appointment for Monday the 14th.

On Monday I have taken my car in and the mechanic at Triangle Brake & Clutch drove with me to Vaal Mall where I told them that's where I'll be waiting until the car is fixed. I've waited there the whole day when they phoned me and told me my car is fixed. "Quinton" came to pick me up, but told me there is something wrong with the car, the inside dash lights are coming on. At that stage my 4x4, Abs and Hill decent nothing worked. Back at the shop they phoned a guy who is working on diagnostics and told me to go to him to see what's wrong. according to the machine. My left-hand wheel speed sensor is broken and that's what's causing the problem. We drove back to Triangle Brake & Clutch and then you could hear that there was something wrong with the wheel. Back at the shop they took the wheels of again and saw that the right-hand side plate wasn't putt in correctly and they have fixed it. "Quinton" ask me it's closing time and could I bring the car in the following day so that they can see what's with the sensor. I told him that I am from Fochville but would make alternative enragements, so that I rather sleep over end then bring the car back the following day.

On the 15th November I brought the car back to Triangle brake & Clutch. Where I once again went to the Vaal Mall while I was waiting for my car. As the hours past, at 1 o clock I phoned them to ask how far they were, "Quinton" spoke to me and with an attitude he told me they will work on my car if his men have time to work on my car. I must just keep in mind that I am not the only customer and ended the call. I phoned back and ask if I could talk to the owner "Bernard" the lady ask me in connection with, So I have told her about my satiation where she told me that she would sort it out for me and that she would phone me back. Hours had passed and she never phoned me back. Once again, I phoned Triangle brake & Clutch to speak with "Quinton" he then told me in so many words that it not his problem and that bought the wrong bearings, and I must just go and buy a new bearing and then they would do the job again. I told him at the end of the when I brought my car in everything was okay and that the bearings just needed to be replaced. And as the diagnostics show they broke my speed sensor. He once again told me it's not his problem and ended the call. I phoned back again and ask the lady if I could talk to the owner. Also with an attitude she told me her boss is busy and he would talk to me when he wants to talk to me. I told her is that how they handle their clients. Where she just told me at the end of the day they replaced my bearings and that's that. I then told her how can it be the bearings if it clearly shows on the diagnostics that they broke my sensors. She then told me I just need to come and get my car. I told her I would do that and get a second opinion and if it come to the point that it's not the bearings I would go to my lawyer and take it from there. She told me straight I can go do that. Once again, I've asked her to talk to the owner where she refused. I then asked her to send someone with my car to come and picked me up at the. She just told me there is nobody there and that I have to make my own arrangement to get there. I told her and how must I do that, must I walk or something. Her answer was straight, I need to get there myself. Even with my cellphone battery almost empty I needed to search google for a taxi services to come and get me. When I arrived at Triangle Brake & Clutch everybody was standing outside. So, the lady **** when she said there was nobody there. They made me pay for the car and didn't say a thing.

Now my brother is phoning me telling me that when he went home "Quinton" stopped him and was threatening him, telling him his mouth is too big for telling me what they said. And he must watch over his back. He also said my brother must give me a message. They don't need me as a client so for future reference must I stay away. Now how is that for customer service?

Things that doesn't make sense.

• I've gone for a second opinion and have proof that it's not the bearings, same as the first diagnostics originally done shows clearly that they broke my sensors. • I have replaced both sides and why would only the left-hand side bearing be faulty if it was the bearing? • I have phoned the place where I bought the bearings and they can confirm it's the first time they here about this, and never had this problem before and can also give me a guarantee. • Why would they let me only pay for one side?
