Treś Jolie Wedding Venue Sucks

Treś Jolie Wedding Venue is a place i would never give business to again or recommend it to anyone. My fiancé and i booked the wedding venue for our wedding for the 30th April 2020 but unfortunately and sadly were unable to proceed with our wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown. Due to this we requested to be refunded as Treś Jolie could not fulfill their duty due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Treś Jolie Wedding Venue offered a postponement date and at first we agreed but after a lengthy discussion between my fiance and i, we decided not to proceed as it's not a date we are happy with. We requested to be refunded as the Covid-19 pandemic is beyond both our control but as per their email on the 22.04.2020, they would not refund us and would keep all the money we paid, totalling R59000.00. Treś Jolie Wedding Venue claimed to have done alot of work regarding our wedding but we were not informed of anything. We have met with the coordinator twice and discussed everything we wanted in the wedding and have not received any feedback since. Treś Jolie Wedding Venue is keeping us at ransom to either have our wedding at the venue or lose all our money that we paid. I would not give Treś Jolie Wedding Venue any business moving forward due to their greed for money. If anyone has any sense, doing business with Treś Jolie Wedding Venue is a big mistake and would cost you alot of money.
