Christmas disappointment at Trés Jolie.

25 December 2023 What a disappointment and total let down. It was raining on the day and we were moved to the wedding venue. The whiff of manure from the animals ever so often overwhelmed the senses. Our table was right under a leaky roof. We couldn't move since the venue was seemingly fully/over booked. Had to wait 35-40 minutes for hot drinks. Starters were a plate of mostly cold tasteless somethings and a couple of wedges of flat bread. Buffet was cold and some items had run out by the time we had quequed and got to the front. One of our party had to eat with a teas**** since there were no spare cutlery. Some hastily wrapped wet cutlery arrived once the meal was finished. The service was dismal at best. Dessert arrived in drips and drabs only once I had to ask several times where it was. One of our party asked for another coffee and was told it would take too long since the waiters were queueing. Ended in a disagreement with us insisting on the coffee. Management and staff were woefully inadequate and overwhelmed on the day and a day that was supposed to be relaxing and a celebration tuned into a day best forgotten.
