Watch out for Treoc and their service providers (Legacy Map)!

I joined Treoc Through a friend. One of their service providers are Legacy Map. I had my own wealth coach who was eventually "let go" by the Company. her name is Marietta Van der Nest. I did not want to post a hellopeter Review but i did feel that the service and care they dont have and for the position they had put me and my family in, was something that i do not want anyone else to got through and be careful about.

My wife and I took out Life cover through Legacy Map and we asked all the questions needed to (on email). We took out life cover for my Father in law whom now has passed on. We actually made the decision (with him) months before he could pass on in 2017 and we as a family decided that this policy will assist us for financial stress relief (winding up estate etc). However, when i put the claim in, it was rejected because Legacy Map says that he could not be the insured as he was not a member. This is after receiving a policy with his name etc as the insured life. This was the advice we received, that we indeed could insure him if he was a dependant (email confirmation as well) and that he doesn't need to be a member.

I am now with the Fais Ombudsman fighting for what is right. What is bad is that Treoc does not seem to be bothered about this claim and that there is no care about what they have done to a family and neither have they taken responsibility to even discuss the matter. the Fais Ombud has even made a recommendation to them stating that they make me an offer. As a Financial Services Provider, they are bound my laws and by-laws of the FAIS act. They just dont reply to me or to the FAIS. I have now cancelled all the memberships with them as this is not the service i want to pay for. They will never see me again and i want people to see this type of reviews and also people that are currently members, as they always make it seem that they are there to help you. Maybe they did help people, but not me. Two Years later and my family has been battling with finances and arranging attorney fees etc. We should have taken a policy from a more reliable and trustworthy source.

I would urge people and existing members to double check all your information with them and as well.

They are simply milking you as the ***!
