Trellidor spares not available or EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.

I have installed Trellidor Cleargard throughout my house plus minus 5 years ago. One of the locking mechanisms broke and I was informed that Trellidor have changed the mechanism and is no longer available. Somerset-West managed to source me one at a cist of R1680.00. RIDICULOUS. I collected the lock and saw a huge print on the box 25 year guarantee. Even the franchise holder questioned Trellidor for charging customers on items they could claim from their suppliers. Perhaps they(Head Office) do but still pass cost on to customer. BE IT AS IT MAY …… IT IS RIDICULOUS to change locks on expensive “shutters” that is useless if locks don't work. Good products but spares are not available or extremely expensive.
