Security shutters do not work, might have installed blinds.

We have been customers of Trellidor for many years and have many of their products at our different properties. We have trusted the brand to deliver on its promises when it comes to safety and service. Recently we moved into a new house and contacted Henry at Trellidor Sandton to install security shutters on two of our stacking doors in our bedrooms. The installation cost almost R 40 000 and promised safety, protection with effortless elegance and is one of their premium products Trellidor did not live up to the promise. The installation was incomplete as the panels at the door frame were not installed. Henry committed to complete the installation at the beginning of January when we returned from holiday and three months later he has not. The main issue that we have is that when we tested the product from the outside, it did not provide the protection as promised. We were able to unlock the door shutters from the outside by fitting our hands through the louvers and unlocking the shutters. On the website, it shows a locking system and when installed, there was no key locking system but a wheel that could be turned and opened easily. I have contacted Henry several times and he promised to address this and said that he was waiting for head office to provide him a solution. I have telephoned and messaged him and he has ignored my communication and showed no urgency to resolve the problem. It's been three months and we have a product that is flawed and can be easily broken into by any common ********. We are not happy and believe that the product is flawed.
