Horrible service, promises, no delivery!

I accepted a quote and paid a deposit of R17500.00 for a bronze steel double garage door (to be custom-made due to size) on 21 September 2022. The Queenstown representative and actual quote promised 3-5 weeks to manufacture, which I accepted.

No update until I enquire myself and when I did, the response would be it was on the manufacturing line in the factory in Durban/KZN. Throughout October this was the same story told. At the beginning of November, I was told the factory does not have the requisite material for my door and have ordered it. This will take approximately a month.

How and why was I told the door was being manufactured while there was no material in the first place? We're now I December, 11 weeks since I placed my order and when I phoned last Friday, the representative told me the factory is still waiting for the material.

This is by far the worst customer experience I have had in my entire life! Trellidor has grossly damaged their reputation to me.
