⚠️ Warning to consumers: Treehaus Adventures CK***, run by Mr. Johannes Jacobus Francois Schutte, has taken upfront payments for canopies and failed to deliver. Treehaus (***, VAT ***) was deregistered by CIPC for non compliance. Despite this, Mr. Schutte continued trading under the deregistered name and later registered Treehaus Adventures CK*** (VAT ***). Clients placed orders for canopies. Mr. Schutte issued quotations requiring full upfront payment. Payments were made, but goods were not delivered. He has intermittently charged VAT without clarity or compliance. After vacating his Pretoria office and relocating south, he claimed the company is under “business rescue” but has provided no proof. Quotations were sent from various cell numbers and email addresses, often missing proper company details. These quotations were vague, with almost no information about the business, and created confusion for consumers. He even agreed to a repayment plan but failed to honour it, leaving clients out of pocket. Multiple creditors have reported similar experiences of paying upfront and not receiving goods. Excuses provided are inconsistent and unsubstantiated. This conduct constitutes *****ulent misrepresentation, reckless trading under Section 22(1) of the Companies Act, and possible theft by conversion. We are in the process of lodging formal complaints with SARS regarding VAT irregularities, and a ******** case is being prepared. We urge other affected parties to come forward and lodge complaints. Mr. Francois Schutte’s pattern of de*****ing hard-working people must be stopped.

Very sad to deal with businesses like this, feels like a **** than anything else. Poor quality product with loads of defects. Very nice and friendly when selling but as soon as you pay you will have no backup. I was promised a replacement but have been constantly **** to and now just ignored. Canopy had issues from the start but in good faith I paid them since they said they will sort out issues. Been 6 months now since purchase and only more problems materialised. Most happened within 1st month. Rust in many places Leaks through weld on roof Bad welds Canopy back door does not close anymore, because door was not centered in frame properly. Many areas not sprayed properly so lots of future rust coming
