23 May 2024, 11:51Dear Ms. Nicole,Thank you for taking the time to speak with me earlier today. I hope your father is feeling better, and we continue to wish him a speedy recovery.
As discussed, while the airline's fare rules indicate that the booking is non-refundable, there is a provision for a medical clause. This clause allows us to request a refund or waiver in cases of death or hospitalization of the passenger or an immediate family member. To proceed with this request, we need to provide the airline with supporting documents as proof of hospitalization.
To assist you with this, please provide the following documents:* A hospital-issued document confirming your father's hospitalization.* Proof of your relationship to your father (e.g., birth certificate, family registry, etc.).
I understand your concerns about obtaining these documents, but hospitals typically have procedures in place for issuing such documents for insurance and related purposes. You can request a medical certificate or a letter from the attending physician or hospital administration.
These documents are essential for us to advocate on your behalf and to request the necessary waivers from the airline. Please feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance or guidance on this matter. We are here to help you through this process. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
