Travelopia recruitement ****

Absolute *****sters when it comes to recruitment. Anthony Wighting held a remote interview with an unemployed candiate based in Knysna, Western Cape on 8 August 2023. During the interview he requested that Mr Wilders attend an onsite interview and promised to reimburse Mr Wilders an amount of R2500 for his travel to Cape Town. It has been 2 months now that he is awaiting pament and after numerous enquiries, Mr Wilders has no other option but to approach the Small Claims Court in an effort to recover the monies due to him from Travelopia. It is appauling to note that an international company would intentionally impoverish an unemployed person who had to borrow money to attend the onsite interview in good faith believing that Travelopia would honour their promise to reimburse him for his effort. Mr Wilders further spent 10 hours working with a team member to commission 3 vessels and this was also not remunerated.
