****** On the 24 July 2019 I booked a holiday apartment with Travelground. The booked apartment Rondevoux 18 booked from 29Dec19 to 03 Jan 20 5 nights the total price for the stay was R11550 of which 50% of it R5775 was paid by me to secure the place. On the 2Aug19 I had to unfortunately cancel the deal due to unforseen circumstances I contacted Travelground and told them about the cancelation. I was sent a cancelation policy which read thus 50% of the deposit will be refunded if you cancel 30 days before stay date 25% of the deposit will be refunded 2 weeks before stay date of you cancel and Less than 2weeks before stay date 0%will be refunded. So I canceled just a week after paying the deposit and it is actually 4 months before stay date. To my surprise I was told that they will refund 50% of the monies paid and there was also an admin fee of R500 that was payable ok that one I understand. I don't have a problem with it. Guess what I was refunded R2380 from the R5775 I paid.

When I queried they told me about the establishments policy. I don't take that I want my full money paid less cancelation fees. The only policy I know of was travelgound 's unless English has changed. Please these people are reaping traveller's off. Please somebody help. Granny T
