No accountability from Travelground

Booked accomodation through travelground in Amanzimtoti, KZN. Amanzimtoti Ultimate Seaview Vacation, everything went well, the booking agent Agnes from travel ground assisted me well until i paid the amount in full then i received no responses from him. Anyway the accomodation was what we expected up until we left. Two days later i get a very rude email from the host claiming that we stayed at the property *******ly and that we were more than the allowed number of people. The host Elize claimed to have images of us checking out a day later and being more people than we paid for which is not true. She then stated that they will be keeping my deposit and i should pay an additional R1600 else legal action will be taken. I have approximately 15 emails going back and forth with this lady. I requested the footage in order to get my legal representative involved then all of a sudden she made a mistake, and retracted her previous claims and deposited my deposit back into my account.

I booked this accommodation through travelground therefore they need to take some responsibility for the type of people that they have advertising accommodation. False accusations and claims is a ******** offence and i emailed them regarding this complaint however i receive no feedback from the agent or from travelground. We use travelground to make bookings because we expect that the people they allow to advertise on their site should be professional, ethical individuals however that seems to not be the case. I would recommend booking.com over travelground any day. I have never experienced such problems with them. This is surely the first and last booking i will make via travelground.
