Listing a Filthy place and not reimbursing me

I booked accommodation called African Heritage which I booked via Travel-ground. I used them before and they were very efficient. To my shock the place was filthy. The was Dog urine and hair al***** the beds, Carpets on the floor were filthy, the room had no key, My mom had virginal infection the next morning.There are filthy dolls on the wall used to decorate, they looked like Vudu dolls, it was creepy to the extent that me and my niece did not sleep the entire night. Unfortunately we arrived around 9 pm and did not have an alternative but to sleep there. when I called Travel-ground they did not have alternative since there was Macufe. I cancelled the rest of the booking last Friday.The lady who owns the guest House agreed to reimburse us after she took an extra R500 for the discount. I was fine with it even though I did not ask for the discount, I asked how much it will cost to bring my niece and she said she will charge the same rate, based on that I made a call to bring my niece along. Now she wanted charge it when we were cancelling. My concern is why does travel-ground list such unhygienic places and when am I going to get my refund that was promised Monday already.
