Nonchalant attitude

Long story short, I approached this organisation on 14th May, 2015 to send an amount of $357 to my sister in Nigeria who's being hospitalised for her upkeep. I was furnished with the relevant<br> MTCN number which is the reference number for Western Union Money transfer. I relayed this ref to the beneficiary. On getting to Western Union branch in Nigeria to effect the collection, beneficiary was told no fund available. An affidavit to that effect has been obtained and submitted to Travelex.<br> <br> I immediately informed western Union of the development. They informed me that the money has been cashed by the recipient. I asked that they should provide me with proof that the fund was collected by whom it was intended and the western Union agent number.<br> <br> To my surprise, they couldn't do that. They stated that they will have to investigate and I was told it will take 8 weeks for this investigation to be concluded.<br> <br> I hope you understand my frustration in that this was an emergency fund that was meant for a relative who was in hospital. She's still without the fund.<br> <br> And secondly, I do not think it's proper for anyone to wait for 8weeks for issue to be investigated. It's emergency Helloo
