Travelcheck: scandalous business practices

Reference: 20-02-255381. I bought 2 return tickets JNB-GRJ from Travelcheck's website on 12 Feb 2020. Dates were for 28 Dec '20 and 12 Jan 2021. However, I never received my Mango ticket or reference number. Then COVID... Wanting to make sure that my bookings are still in place and valid, I tried Mango's website - no luck. But the flights are still advertised. Then I tried to contact Travelcheck, which in itself is a mission. They don't answer their phones, they dont come back to you via email. At long last, I did a query on the website. They came back to me only after 3 days. On 21 Aug that my return flight for Jan 2021 has been cancelled. I explained that they are lying as the Mango website clearly still sell tickets for that flight. They offered me vouchers for R1300 to use for the same return flight, which still means that I have to fork out money. Suddenly the price of the return flight (which I have already paid for) has gone up...Then I got an phone call from them after I told them that they need to phone me because this can't be dealt with emails. They only phoned on 25 Aug and said that they could not book the tickets with Mango more than 6 months in advance, and therefor the tickets were not booked. So I realised that they have done false advertising if this is the case. My case would have been referred to the MD, Clarence Domingo. It is now 3 days later, and I still haven't been contacted. I don't have plane tickets for which I have already paid in February. This is not COVID related stuff. This is just **************** where they advertise flights, and then don't pay the money over to the airline. Do not use this company - rather buy directly from the airline!
