Poor organising of educational tour.

Travel and Sport organised an educational tour to Ireland and England for high school students during the September 2019 holidays. Only top students of various schools were invited. After paying R50 000 for the tour, which included 8 nights stay in hotels, the accommodation for the last 3 nights in London was below standard (dirty and smelly rooms, poor service, unfriendly staff). Comments on this hotel on social media sites were 90% negative. This is the 6th year that this tour has been organised and the organisers should have done their homework in this regard. When parents phoned the organisers and complained, they were told that nothing could be done about is. An email was sent to one of the organisers and the response was non-committal.
