Worst Trip to Mozambique

Dear Travel Generation

Let me start by thanking you for planning the trip and taking me to Mozambique on my special day.

Your planning was amazing but the execution was disastrous.

None of the activities were delivered as planned/Promised. I felt like I was sold dreams..

1. BOAT CRUISE you said you will serve platters and my expectations were not met at all.. you should have specified that you will serve FRUITS and SNACKS so that we go there full and not expect the normal platter. R650 is a Lot of money for fruits and Doritos. I starved that afternoon and that really ruined the whole experience for me.

You said there will be bottomless champagne/Alcohol/Drinks only to arrive there and have one glass of None Alcoholic Champagne. Next time pls manage our expectations. I think you should have simply said there will be a welcome drink. Cos tell me y I will have one glass for a two hour cruise.

2. THE HOTEL BREAKFAST 🍳 the fact that you sent a message few hours or a day before the trip managing our expectations regarding the breakfast does not make it any less annoying. The fact that you know about the hotels operations and you still picked them says you care more about your profit than the satisfaction of your clients.

Yes they served us baked beans and eggs, but couldn’t they just cook enough and give us without begging? Had to fight for cutlery, or to get anything. It took us screaming and yelling to get a mere s**** 🥄 for our tea..

One would say but the hotel issue is not your fault.. I put it on you cos that message you sent you were simply trying to manage us.

If you keep taking people there regardless of thier service they will never take any black person serious bcos they think we are desperate.

3. THE MASSAGE 💆♀️ I couldn’t even do it cos it was just dirty and not worth my energy. (Maybe I’m not an open minded traveller).

4. BEACH “HORSE RIDE” and PHOTOSHOOT Coin that to Photoshoot on the horse and REMOVE the word Ride. Tell me why I was on the horse for 2 mins and Emanuel gave me an attitude bcos I asked him to use my phone instead of thiers. The whole process was rushed and not enjoyable.

While others took 5 pictures others got 30 and more. Try to allocate proper time so that we can all enjoy and get a fair chance.

5. SOUTH BEACH MAPUTO Why would you make us take pictures only on the outside? I’m still asking myself what was the point of listing it on the activities especially on the day of departure. Y would I miss an opportunity to enter the only cute beach club I see on socials.. that marathon on the day was annoying.. y are we touring the city in a hurry ?
