Incorrect Price and Abrupt people

Today I visited travel experience at Cavendish Square mall in Claremont. I picked up a laptop bag that was marked at price R290.00. I took the bag to pay at the teller and I was told the bag is marked at an incorrect price so they "will" not sell it to me as it was allot more expensive. I pushed back saying that it is not my fault and should sell me the bag at that price. The lady abruptly spoke to me telling me no with no care in the world. I asked her if she will get into trouble for selling me the bag at this price but got no response. She instead picked up the phone and called her head office or owner whoever it was, they heard the price was wrong and told her they will not sell the bag to me at the price they marked it for end of story. Could not believe their dam attitudes and customer service.

Firstly what happened to businesses complying to the consumer protection act, the price you see is the price you pay. They just did not bother to even assist me with something else. I do understand everyone is human and makes mistakes so my intention was never to force the issue however what ****ed me off is how the lady /staff of travel experience and the head office/owner treated me. It felt like it was my fault that this bag was marked at the incorrect price. I was an innocent consumer who wanted to buy a laptop bag but was treated so badly at travel experience as they had no regard for me as a consumer. Never have I experienced this before and never will I go back to a travel experience.

It's pathetic to see this and one day they will meet a customer who will take you to task for your wrong doing, someone who wont let this slide like I am.
