Few years back I got a very smart headlamp from Led Lenser called the H14R for my birthday. At first I was very impressed with the product's Capability as well as Preformance. People this light really has a multi purpose use. It can be set to a Super beam of light which gives you meters and meters of viewing pleasure, but then it can also be adjusted to a wide floodlight kind of light to make you feel so much safer in the pitch-black.

So impressed was I that I went back and also bought the smaller version of this headlamp called the H7R.

But my fotune was about to change when one Night during a power failure when I wanted to use my H14R and it failed to light up. Nothing seemd to be wrong with the lamp itself so I thought that someone proffesional should have a look. I immediately phoned my father who gave it to me as a gift few months before, he then told me that the lamp was bought at "Trapper Trading Savanha". So I went and took it to "Tappers Trading Mall of the north" because the shop had moved to our new Mall in Polokwane. I explained my story to the manager there called P.C. he then took my headlamp and told me he would phone me when it was fixed. Couple of days later he phoned me back and said to me that the lamp was "non-repairable". I then went to the store in Mall of the North to see what was going on, and me and P.C found that if you put ordinary AA Battery's in the headlamp it works 100%, but this being a Rechargeable headlamp I didn't expect it to be using ordinary battery's, and wanted it fixed up properly. He then assured me that they will have a look at it again and that I will be Notified. After a few months I was ringed and went to Trappers and again. I was told that the Lamp was "non-repairable" I then ask if they were going to refund me with a new lamp? I was told that that is not "their policy and that they would fix it". The funny thing here is that the smaller version of the lamp the H7R which I also have, which do not use Rechargeable battery's still works very well and I have changed battery's on it many times. Now after 2 years I went back to have my headlamp and boom no Headlamp. So I was told by P.C. then that I took the lamp, but he still got the box with my name and cell nr written on it at the shop, so how can that be?? I then gave them a chance to find the Lamp again but was phoned and told its not their problem after 2 years and that it has gone out of warrenty, when I spoke to the Pieter Olivier the owner of Trappers he asked me if I still had papers for it. I rep**** no becuase it was given by me as a gift, which I was just told he then can't help me. How is that for service???? Now that I can't have my lamp back what stand me to do now?? Regards Theyman
