WOW Service

I’ve spoken with a lot of consultants in Transunion since the beginning of this year, due to my sequestration/rehabilitation and the unresolved updating/clearing of my accounts (Reference TU ********** ***) Never during this time did anyone one of them at least try to be courteous or helpful, but rather came across as doing me a favour. Their manner was disrespectful and showed irritation and lack of understanding most of the time. Each time I had to call in because there was a system error or my old history was reloaded on my profile etc. So, as you would imagine my complete lack of faith and absolute dread to once again have to call into your Customer Service centre, I was most surprisingly reminded that there are still good Samaritans in South Africa

Today I called in and was fortunate enough to get through to Mr Craig, not once during my conversation did he show any form of rudeness, disrespect and irritation at having being asked a lot of questions. I’ve experienced a great over-the-phone service from Mr Allen Craig of your contact centre and would like to put it on record. He answered all my enquiries professionally and with the highest standard of customer service. I am truly impressed! He took the time to explain why my scoring was low and what could be done to improve and which group to approach after 6-8month period. This information and advice was most helpful and allowed me to understand why I was being declined on applications and the way forward.

I would like to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude to Mr Allen Craig for taking the time and making the effort to resolve my query and give me the best advice I ever received in terms of Credit Health, Scoring etc. As other organisations push the responsibilities to customer to be aware how ones credit score can be affected, it is quite refreshing to know that some of your Staff are able to better advise and educate consumers on their credit health. This gives one hope that Customer Service in South Africa is improving.
