Unfairness in updating GOOD information Immediately

I just don't understand why is it that as soon as you miss one payment, the negative information gets listed against your name immediately, however when you pay up and close an account your ITC information takes forever to update. I logged a dispute 02 March only to receive the following feedback today (19 March) "Your dispute or query with TransUnion around information on your TransUnion Credit Report was erroneously submitted to the incorrect department. We have forwarded your request to the TransUnion Customer Support Call Centre. ". First off, is it my fault it was submitted to the incorrect department? Am I now still going to have to wait forever and a day for the call to be resolved just because it was submitted to the incorrect department? To which I call in today (19 March) to follow up, only to be told by the "interactive voice response" (not sure what the correct term for the lady's voice is) "if you have not received feedback, this simply means there has been no resolution yet". Well I know that! Is the following up "feature" not to be able to actually follow up?! Point is; I paid up and closed an account 15 January, received the paid up letter 22 January and to date my ITC is still listed as the account is open and owing. Can we please have fairness in the ITC system whereby when ALL consumers pay up and close accounts that the GOOD information gets updated immediately.
