TransUnion is ********* and doesn't confirm information before listing a consumer
I want to know who Governs TransUnion? As i would like to report them! I was listed with them by a company called Prosperitas. The debt that i was listed for had prescribed and I had notified Prosperitas there of. In fact i had shown them proof. I have disputed the listing but why should i. Is the service provider/credit provider always right? TransUnion only gives most consumers 1 free credit report a year. By then the consumer has no idea about the listing. Prosperitas did not follow section 72. They did not give me 20 days notice before listing me, let alone for a debt that had prescribed (Which is not allowed and ******* as per NCR). I cant wait 20 days for TransUnion to "Investigate". TransUnion just followed their ORDERS and listed me. This is BLATANT defemination on the part of TransUnion cause they just followed ORDERS without checking the facts and Prosperitas *******LY used that loop hole. Again who GOVERNS the Credit Bureaus as i would like to lodge a complaint against TransUnion.
I would like to thank you for your speedy response and resolution to my problem. I honestly believe credit Bureaus need to evaluate how they list consumers and not just take the matter on the Service providers word. I have recently found that service providers are waiting for the 1 year lapse of adverse information to pass and then relisting, which by your own website is against the NCA.
