SHOCKING SERVICE!!

I requested a free credit report with ITC and to my surprise I saw a Debt Review Status which I cancelled in 2012. I called the contact centre and spoke to Nomandla whom advised process to follow when lodging a dispute and what documents to submit.

I then emailed all relevant documents on the 17 May namely: Proof of residence, 17.4 Form & Copy of ID and was told to wait for turnaround time that might take up to 21 days.

On the 24th May I received a sms requesting that I fax copy of my ID & proof of residence to ********** 193. To my annoyance, I faxed these copies.

On the 30th May I received another sms requesting that I fax the 17.4 Form which I faxed on the 31 May to ********** 193

To my surprise, on the 31 May at 20h08 I received sms informing me that my dispute has been closed due to insufficient documentation and I must contact trans Union to lodge a new dispute.

I called the contact centre on the 1st June at 17H08 and spoke to a no-so-interested- Nomsa who told me that the 17.4 Form was missing that is why they query was closed

I then asked for the whereabouts of the email sent to them on the 17 May – which she claimed to have not received. She asked for me to hold while she investigates

She comes back and tell me that she cannot find the email, I must lodge a new dispute. While waiting for her, she generated an sms to my cellphone number requesting the documents again.

I then asked to speak to Team Leader and she told me that they close at 5pm

She asked me to hold the line…..and she terminated the call. When I called back, the voice message told me about the office hours.

What kind of service is that???? Why is ITC bulling me!! They know I cannot do anything regarding the debt review status but have keep on calling and begging them for assistance.

What do they do with the correspondence that we send to them &.why should I be asked to resend documents when I did?

I asked the call centre agent…..if they claim to have not received my email, how did they know that I have a dispute and sent SMS for outstanding requirements.

I am so mad right now!!!
