Poor Service.

Transunion is surely upsetting.

About 2-3 weeks ago, SA Homeloans added the homeloan account to my profile but FNB still showed a huge balance as if I was still owing them also. This was after I did a bond switch from FNB to SA Homeloans.

The two accounts, FNB and SA Homeloans, were reflecting on my profile as if I owe both of them, and this reduced my credit score dramatically. I did a dispute as I was querying why the FNB account was still open.

FNB updated the account and send me letter showing the account was settled and the balance was zero.

Two weeks later, Transunion still has my account locked and not showing a score even after I chatted and called 4 different people at Transunion over the last weeks, all who said they have escalated the matter.

If this was escalated, why was this still not resolved?

My account was locked and has not been showing the credit score since, and a potential employer couldn't successfully check my score.

I thought this was such a simple process of updating the system with the correct balance but TRANSUNION is so inefficient this seemingly simple process seems to be like rocket science to them.

Good-day,

Please can you check if this was updated on the system. FNB said they submitted updated details to Transunion.

Thanks.
