It's OK if it's only half right!

I am trying to get my husband's name correct on my credit report. I have been doing this since 2013. I have sent copies of ID's and marriage certificates. In May 2015 Transunion advised, via email, that all my demographic info has been corrected. Guess what - I'm still married to someone called \Andrew". But Transunion say that this is OK because it's half right (it's his middle name...) therefore legally it's OK and what is my problem??
