incorrect listing to be amended

There is a duplicate loan reflecting on my profile and under reference 2721_30518 518<br> the credit provider did send a request for all credit bureaus to be updated, xds, Experian and Compuscan did update their records and the account is closed however on transunion its still reflecting, I phoned today and the lady advised that its best I follow up on the dispute because they have a lot of accounts to update and if I wait for the normal amendment it takes way longer how is this so because I thought by law its suppose to take between 7 to 10 days for records to be updated if the request was done by the credit provider directly?? <br>
